1962 — Quaker Manufacturing Corp. was founded to provide innovative solutions for tooling, precision metal stamping, welding, painting and assemblies for world class quality products to customers in the metal forming industry. Quaker’s primary customer base was automotive, recreational vehicle and outdoor power markets.
2017 — Compco Industries aquuired Quaker Manufacturing Corp to form Compco Quaker Manufacturing Inc. Primary services included metal forming and stamping. Capabilities focused on in-house tool and die, auto-feed progression, transfer dies, single and double action pressing, assembly, packing, laser trim, welding and robotic MIG. Compco Quaker customer base grew to include automotive, heavy truck and trailer, rail, recreational vehicle, agriculture, lawn and garden, appliance and kitchen and bath industries.
2021 — Compco Quaker Manufacturing Inc. merges with Liberty Steel Industries Inc. to form a partnership called CQL Manufacturing. Maintaining the same location in Salem Ohio for over 60 years, the alliance of Compco Quaker Liberty continues to specialize in stamping, laser and plasma cutting and assembly. CQL’s valued customers include automotive, heavy truck and trailer, rail, recreational vehicle, agriculture and HVAC.
